MPCW-7 Controller

Work through these checks. If the scoreboard does not update, make sure the receiver has been added to the controller using its six-digit serial number. If the wrong field's scoreboard responds, confirm you entered the correct receiver's serial number. If updates are intermittent, move the controller closer to the receiver and check for interfering devices. If the scoreboard updates and then stops, check the receiver's power and power-cycle the receiver. If the controller itself is unresponsive, check the 9V DC power supply connection.

Have the receiver's six-digit serial number ready. From the Link Receiver screen, press OPTIONS until the display reads "Add Receiver", then press YES. When the display reads "Receiver#", enter the six-digit serial number, then enter a name for the receiver (for example, GYM 1). Once a new receiver is added, it is added to all profiles as linked.

A profile stores all of your OPTIONS menu settings, so you can recall a complete scoreboard configuration with one key press. From the main game screen, press SCROLL PROFILES, press it again to step through the available profiles, then press YES to load the one shown. The MPCW-7 holds up to 100 profiles per sport, and default profiles for each sport are pre-loaded at the factory (profiles 88–96).

The MPCW-7 uses a removable keyboard overlay for each sport. Each overlay configures the controller with the correct buttons and display behavior for that sport, and factory default profiles for each sport are pre-loaded (profiles 88–96). The exact steps depend on your sport, so open the manual for your sport — Baseball/Softball, Basketball, Football, Hockey / Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Track, Volleyball or Wrestling.
