Accessibility at Nevco Support

Nevco wants everyone who uses our products to be able to use this support site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

  • We run automated accessibility checks on the site's key pages, at desktop and phone sizes, every time the code changes, and we fix what they find.
  • Numbered procedure steps in our manuals are announced with their step numbers to screen readers.
  • Links within text are underlined, not distinguished by color alone.
  • The FAQ and other expandable sections work with a keyboard.

Known limitations

We have not yet completed a full manual review of the site with screen readers or by keyboard-only use. In particular:

  • Some interactive features, including the chat assistant, product carousels and the video viewer, have not been tested with assistive technology.
  • Product manuals are also offered as downloadable PDFs, and installation and wiring drawings are provided as PDF drawings. Most of these PDFs are not tagged for screen readers, so they may be difficult or impossible to use with assistive technology. Each manual is also available as a web page.
  • Videos are hosted on YouTube. Captions depend on each video, and we have not checked that every video is captioned.
  • Text over photographs and video thumbnails has not been checked for sufficient color contrast.
