FanZone Scoreboard Installation Guide#

Once the scoreboard is mounted and powered, continue with the FanZone Scoreboard App Set-Up & Operation Guide.

Installation#

Before you start – please review the tool list below to ensure you have everything needed to properly install your FanZone Scoreboard.

Tools Needed#

• Cordless Drill
• Screwdriver
• Tape Measure
• Level

Hardware You'll Need#

• (4) ea. wall anchors with #8 or #10 screws, min 50 lb. capacity ea.

Hardware Included with Your FanZone Scoreboard#

• (2) ea. wall brackets
• (4) ea. #8-32 x ½" machine screws
• (8) ea. #8-18 x ½" sheet metal screws
• (1) ea. 6' power cord (120V)
• (1) Bonus faceplate

Bonus faceplates can be used to capture signatures from your favorite football players or icons when attending games or autograph sessions and then added to your FanZone Scoreboard by removing the screws and replacing the original blank plate.

STEP 1#

Wall bracket (x2) – Provided by Nevco

Wall Anchors (x4) – Provided by customer

1. Attach each bracket to the wall using (2) ea. #8 or #10 wall anchors (min. 50 lb. capacity each)
2. Brackets must be installed level and at spacing shown below
3. Space the brackets 48 in apart (center to center), as dimensioned in the drawing; the two mounting holes in each bracket are 4 in apart

STEP 2#

1. Openings in back of scoreboard should align with brackets on the wall
2. Slide openings in back of scoreboard over top of brackets on the wall and lower scoreboard
   • Scoreboard dimensions: 6' x 2.5'
   • Top Sign dimensions: 6' x 1'
3. Scoreboard should be sitting on brackets on wall as shown below
   • If unsure whether or not scoreboard is sitting on brackets properly, remove panels on front of scoreboard to view bracket attachments

STEP 3#

1. Plug 120V power cord (provided by Nevco) into top of scoreboard and into wall receptacle
   • Ideal wall receptacle location is within 12" of top of scoreboard so that top sign will hide wall receptacle and all cables.
2. OPTIONAL: Scoreboard will connect to the internet wirelessly but if wanting to run a wired internet connection, connect ethernet cable into top of scoreboard and connect other end of ethernet cable to nearest wall jack.

STEP 4#

1. Attach ends of sign to top of scoreboard using the black #8 machine screws (2 on each side)
2. Holes in ends should face out on both sides

STEP 5#

1. Attach face of sign to ends of sign using #8 sheet metal screws (x8)

Maintenance#

Operating Temperature: 32F to 158F

Storage Temperature: -40F to 185F
